Level Playground
Every child deserves to feel valued and confident in their individuality. Early experiences shape future possibilities.
About Us
Level Playground empowers children to embrace who they truly are while building healthy, safe, and respectful relationships.
We celebrate gender equality, inclusion, individuality, and respect, striving to create a world where every child feels free to explore what excites and inspires them. We promote curious and unlimited exploration and play in safe and inclusive environments.
Level Playground is one of our Primary Prevention initiatives.

PREVENTION IN ACTION
We’re all about creating a fairer, more equal world—starting with kids. We know that gender inequality is at the core of family violence which is why our work focuses on primary prevention.
Primary prevention means tackling the root causes of violence before it happens. It’s about shifting the social norms, attitudes, and structures that reinforce gender stereotypes and inequality. Through play, storytelling, and everyday interactions, we help children, families, educators, and communities challenge outdated ideas about gender and embrace fairness, respect, and opportunity for all.
By encouraging kids to be themselves—free from limiting labels—we’re laying the foundation for a future where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive. This isn’t just about toys, books, or colours. It’s about shaping environments that support respectful relationships, build confidence, and create lasting cultural change.

Why we do it
We believe every child deserves the freedom to be themselves—to learn, play, and grow in ways that inspire confidence and curiosity. We want children to feel safe, supported, and excited to explore, while developing healthy, age-appropriate skills and building respectful relationships.
We know that:
- Parents and caregivers want children to follow their interests without being held back by gender stereotypes.
- Educators and those working with children who strive to create safe, inclusive spaces, often need support and resources to make it happen.
- When children are encouraged to try new things, they gain opportunities for more balanced growth and development.
- Learning to express emotions in healthy ways helps children build strong, respectful relationships—both now and in the future.
