Prevention Programs for Schools and Youth

We work with young people to empower the next generation with confidence, practical skills and knowledge to combat gender-based violence in our community.

Our programs

Our work with schools and youth aims to ignite leadership and advocacy in young people through dynamic workshops on gender equity, respectful relationships, consent, and activism.

We work with both primary and secondary schools, tertiary education and other youth based settings. Take a look at our programs and available resources below.

what we do

Young Leaders

Young Leaders is a student voice initiative designed for primary school students. It equips young people with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to lead meaningful conversations and take action on gender equality and respect within their school communities. Through a series of interactive workshops, delivered within one school or across multiple schools, students engage in hands-on activities and discussions aligned with the Respectful Relationships Curriculum. Together, students assess their school for gender equality gaps, then design and lead a project to promote inclusion and equity.

Our Resources

Young Leaders Resource

As a part of our Young Leaders program and in partnership with Inspiro, we have created a teacher resource to support primary school students (Grades 5 and 6) to understand more about equality, respect and activism. This teacher resource supports students to create and implement their own student-led awareness raising activity within their school.
